In protecting the environment, we simultaneously offer protection for our most precious and delicate babies. Toshi Organic 100% cotton is soft and gentle for babies and is grown without chemicals. Organic certification ensures the product is gentle on delicate babies, as well as our precious environment.

The increasing intensity of our seasonal weather conditions is at the forefront of our design considerations. From UPF50+ broad brim sunhats providing shade from for the scorching summers of far north Queensland, to cosy knitted beanies buffering the icy depths of Tasmanian winters, Toshi is dedicated to offering protection in all seasons and across a great diversity of landscapes.

About us

Toshi is a design focused, lifestyle brand dedicated to the creation of children’s headwear, swimwear, organic cotton accessories and baby gifts. We develop beautiful, aesthetically driven product with high integrity and intelligent functionality.

Toshi was established in 1999. Over a twenty-five year period, Toshi has evolved into an iconic home grown Australian brand. Toshi has a solid reputation and is trusted for reliably creating quality, design oriented and environmentally sustainable product.

The Toshi brand is represented by over 650 specialty stores, independent retailers and department stores throughout Australia, New Zealand and further afield internationally.

Toshi Australia Pty Ltd is a privately owned company. Ananda Rubens is the founder and principal. Design, import-export and distribution are directed from the Melbourne head office.

Design and aesthetic considerations are at the core of the brand awareness. The fusion of international trends of the moment with an awareness of the timeless desire for self-expression, results in the creation of lovingly considered collections.

In Japanese kanji symbolism, Toshi can be translated to age, youth or dawn of a new era. As we progress towards a future era, our inspiration flows from the wonders of nature.
